Gila Valley Baptist Church Anniversary

In April 1960 Gila Valley Baptist Mission was started with the aid of First Baptist Church of Lordsburg. We became independent and organized as a church in May 1981. Gila Valley Baptist is now 60 years old, thank you to the 10 original, dedicated and faithful people that followed God’s will and formed the Mission.

Eddy was able to load the 30th Anniversary Service videos onto the church's YouTube channel. You can find it at this link: Gila Valley Baptist Church YouTube channel link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClMSrP9XbvTtiAkD26cUiOw

Team kids are for children K-6th grades and meet every Tuesday throughout the school year. The program is held from as soon as school lets out until 5:30 pm. We have had to make several changes, please watch the mail for more information. At Team Kids your children will enjoy recreation and a snack and most importantly learn about and experience God's love. If you have any questions, please contact Deanna at 535-2437, and Jessica Allsup 535-2310.

Youth Group:

The Youth Group meets every other Wednesday from 7 pm - 8 pm throughout the school year. Our youth group is very active and would love to have more teens involved. Youth Group is for Youth from 7th - 12th grades. The current schedule is posted on the Home page!

Our 180 Youth Group is once again meeting in person. We are so excited to be able to gather together again and learn more about and grow closer to God. Currently, we are meeting for Bible Study from 7:00-8:00 p.m. We hope to be back to our regular meetings very soon. During this time though, we are taking advantage of the YouVerson Bible App which has given us an opportunity to study together throughout the week and then discuss what we've studied at our bi-weekly meetings. On this app, we have been able to discuss together each day how God is speaking to us through his word and the study. This has been such a blessing to me, and I know others. Things may look different right now, but it is no surprise to God, and he is providing ways for us to connect even better than we did before. God is working, always working, and we are so thankful for his living word and the many ways we can study together. If you need more information about the app or our studies, please do not hesitate to ask.
